Today as I write this, looking out of my door the sky is clear. This kind of view always for some reason takes me back to my early school days in grades 4-5 and the sun is shining brightly. For some reason, we all have these kinds of memories which might be so many years old but it feels like you don’t even need to close your eyes to remember them. It’s like you’re there in that moment. That makes me feel the warmth.

It’s way more than “you’re there in that moment” I say this because it’s now a memory in my head so I can navigate through it the way I want it doesn’t need to follow the rule of time. Let me explain with an example - one moment I’m sitting in school watching that clear sky and the next I’m heading out of school on my bicycle to go home. Then fast-forwarding to the evening my favorite part of the day - playing cricket. I’m taking a great catch, mind you I’m not creating this out of thin air, I am a great fielder.

Recalling memories like these gradually makes me unaware of my physical surroundings and takes me to that world that transcends time.
