Wikipedia definition - “Nature is an inherent character or constitution, particularly of the ecosphere or the universe as a whole. In this general sense nature refers to the laws, elements, and phenomena of the physical world, including life. Although humans are part of nature, human activity or humans as a whole are often described as at times at odds, or outright separate and even superior to nature”
A Google search for “Nature” also gives an interesting-looking science journal, which will be explored later.
- “Even superior to nature” I don’t think I would have been able to put in better words than these. We humans so many times have this fake feeling that we can control nature or even things around us. What we don’t realize is that there are many things at play and we are just a small part of it. Especially over the past century, we have used resources provided by nature so indiscriminately that has caused a lot of harm to the environment. But I do feel many communities aware of things are sharing their knowledge and trying to make a difference.
- If you look at the past 10-15 years quite a few natural disasters have happened. Some of those certainly feel like nature telling us “I will always find a way to restore balance”.
Is it really that tough for us to respect nature and live in harmony with it? I don’t think so. If each of us just takes small steps in our daily lives. The big menace i.e. plastic, if we just stop using it. It would make a huge difference. Disposing of it is another issue.
There are so many natural wonders all over the world. It’s all around us - the big tree outside, the birds sitting on it. The feeling you get early in the morning the sunlight entering your room and birds chirping, it’s all so peaceful.
