Yesterday a couple of books “The Making of Prince of Persia” and “The Art of Doing Science and Engineering - Learning to Learn” arrived. The quality of the hardbound books is amazing. I own only a few hardbound ones, most are paperbacks. It made me think about the books with the best covers I own.

  • Stripe Press books

  • Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo - Beautiful covers, truly feels like collector’s edition.

  • Recursion by Blake Crouch - Completely suits the book.

  • Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson - The all white look with tinch of blue, along with minimal sketches.

  • Three Body Problem series by Liu Cixin - My favorite sci-fi series, the covers hold to that standard.

  • Agatha Christie - I love this style of writing author-name

  • Things to make and do in the fourth dimension by Matt Parker - Like the handwritten style.

  • The Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book - Just Calvin and Hobbes goofy as always.

A few others I like but can’t get my hands on yet, like Yumi and the Nightmare Painter and other books by Brandon Sanderson.
