Ever wondered what a dog thinks about throughout the day?

What makes them such a great companion for humans?

At times I think we don’t deserve them, just because of how evil humans can be. Dogs on the other hand are so loving.

Anyway back to the topic, what do they think about? I don’t know but feel like would be fun to imagine.

Let’s try a conversation style -

It’s early morning

Dog: Sitting on his bed and looking towards the human on the bed. As soon as the human opens one’s eyes and makes eye contact, it’s time you get off your ass and take me for a walk. It’s launch time!

Human: Wakes up goes to the bathroom and does its launching!

Dog: Concurrently taps the door of the bathroom with his pawn, you better get out quickly

Human: Let’s go for a walk

Dog: I’m happy and move around making it a little difficult to put on the leach. I don’t jump around now, because I’m an old geyser now.

Dog: I wait for my human friend and gradually descend downstairs from our 1st-floor abode.

Dog: I think my launching details we can omit. Once I’m done I turn around to go back home can’t do long walks any longer I get tired. We use the lift on return again because ascending stairs is no longer my thing.

Human: Time for some background music mostly old Hindi songs as I give food to my fur friend.

Dog: I finish my food quite quickly, I’m a Labrador after all can’t bring shame to my breed you see!

Mostly now the time is to relax. At times make my human friend play with me, generally not much now. However, I do still love having the toys with me. As I have heard humans say, “We stay as kids forever” even when old. I agree with that to some extent. Mind you we don’t take a few years to learn to launch at the right place.

Human: Now is generally time for some reading.

Dog: My human friend loves to read. I wonder what fascinates him so much about those books. I do enjoy chewing on the box that comes in.

Dog: At times when the sun is out I like sitting on the balcony. I enjoy looking out and being in nature. I recall my days in big gardens where I used to sit and run around. Now we live in a flat not on the ground floor so no garden. I miss those days. Time to take a nap now.
